Many of us will be observing the holidays during the brutal weather headed our way.  While we celebrate in warmth, let’s take time to think of the thousands in the communities where we live and work who are not as fortunate as we are. During the next few days, there will be children who are cold because they don’t have a warm coat, socks or boots, and many who will be shivering because they lack shelter. We are asking all members, retirees and our IBEW 21 friends to donate a minimum of one dollar to help those who lack the basics to survive during these difficult times. Your donations will benefit My Joyful Heart and Never99. If we all contribute, imagine the warmth we can give to those who need it the most

If you are an AT&T employee who is considering retiring by the end of the year because you have concerns regarding how the current rise in inflation is impacting next year's corporate bond rate, it is imperative that you begin the process sooner rather than waiting until the last minute. As is typical with the holiday season, many managers will be on vacation and not available. Also, Fidelity may need additional time to process your pension calculation if you have any special circumstances that may require a manual calculation. The sooner you start the process, the more time you will have to resolve any issues or errors that may arise. So again, if you are planning to retire this year, take action now.

The Bears have a bye week and if you are one of those Packer Backers, you have another week to gloat about last week’s win over a team that is rebuilding.  Since you will have extra time this weekend, it is the perfect opportunity to donate to the IBEW 21 Toy, Coat, Blanket and Toiletries Drive. My Joyful Heart helps over 1,100 school children and Never 99 assists countless individuals who are in need of life’s basic necessities. Let’s use our free time this weekend to help those in the communities where we live and work by donating today. If everyone who receives this message donates just $1, the impact we could make would be incredible.

What’s Up Wednesday Over the last several days you received emails for Black Friday Deals, Shop Local Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday.  Well, we didn’t want this message to get lost in the clutter in your inbox.

The Officers, Executive Board, Business Representatives, Chief and Area Stewards and our Staff would like to wish all of our members a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. As we spend time with our families, please consider helping a child and those who aren’t blessed with all that we are thankful for by donating to the IBEW 21 Toy, Coat, Blanket and Toiletries Drive by clicking here.

IBEW 21 Days of Giving Toy & Coat Drive Kicks Off Today! As we enter the holiday season, it is time for us to once again brighten the holidays for children and others who live in the areas where we live and work.  The IBEW 21 Toy Coat Blanket and Toiletries Drive kicks off today and will run through December 13th.

This is our last 2022 election message and it is a simple one…. Get Out and Vote!

Unit 1 Meeting Moved to Hillside. Prior to all of the November 2022 Union meetings, representatives from IBEW 21 staff will be available 45 minutes prior to the start of the meetings to discuss and answer questions from AT&T members who are considering retiring in December 2022. Don’t forget to vote Union Yes on the Workers’ Rights Amendment. The Amendment will protect your rights as Union members in the Private sector as well as the Public sector. Contrary to lies being spread by corporate billionaires, it will not raise your taxes.
