Chicago Comcast Workers Need Your Help

ACTION ALERT!
Comcast Workers Need Your Help

Workers at the Comcast facility located at 4445 W Cortland Street in Chicago have been negotiating their contract since January 2014.
The contract expired February 28, 2014.

Comcast is the Wal-Mart of the Communications Industry and has decided that it might be easier to deceive the workers into decertifying their union rather than negotiate a fair contract for the Chicago Technicians.

Comcast is capitalizing on a weak link at the Cortland facility that collected the signatures needed for the NLRB to conduct an election. The election is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2015.

IBEW Local 21 is looking to line the street in front of the Comcast building with union supporters to help Comcast Workers understand that without a union contract workers are subject to the whims of
Comcast and are employees at will. We need your help to show them that the Labor Movement is behind them.

You can help by simply showing up at 8:30AM on Thursday September 17th to show broad support for Comcast Workers as they arrive at work to vote.

When: 8:30AM on Thursday September 17, 2015
Where: Comcast Facility 4445 W Cortland Street, Chicago
