AT&T Construction Preference

In AT&T Construction, there are 61 job openings; 32 in the Splicing title and 29 Outside Plant Technician (OPT) openings. Your union representatives and management worked out an agreement to allow both First Mile and Installation and Maintence (I&M) employees the opportunity by joint seniority to preference into the Construction positions. Employees will be notified by management about the preference and the locations of the openings.

Future preferences are also being discussed.

Job Security

AT&T management notified IBEW Local 21 that there will be no employee surpluses through the end of this year.
