Friday June 28, 2019 - International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 21 members (IBEW21) working as dispatchers in the Lake County Indiana Emergency 911 Call Center voted to accept the tentative agreement that was reached earlier this month.  The agreement was ratified with a 97.87% vote in favor of the proposal.

The new Collective Bargaining Agreement, pending budgetary approval by the members of the Lake County Council, will provide wage increases in addition to addressing many other workplace issues in regards to staffing, scheduling and the mandating of overtime hours.
