Elections Matter – VOTE!
Updated On: Oct 297, 2018

It is getting down to crunch time and we need every IBEW 21 member to do their part by voting and volunteering to help elect the candidates that will support members of IBEW Local 21.

Some may think this election will not affect our membership.  That is not true.  As we can see with previous state, federal and local elections all of our members are affected by decisions made at all levels of governments through laws, regulations, judicial decisions and appointments.

This election will effect both our private and public sector members.  We have hundreds of members who work in the public sector and are employed at the City of Chicago and Lake County Indiana 911 Centers, and who work in Vermilion and Peoria counties. They need the help of all IBEW 21 members to protect their rights which are under attack.

IBEW 21 union members and their families have the power to make change by voting for candidates who support middle class working families.  Please consider the endorsed candidates when voting. They were vetted and met the requirements necessary to obtain an endorsement from the IBEW and the unions who are affiliated with the Illinois and Indiana AFL- CIO as well as the Chicago Federation of Labor. The lists below also include candidates in local elections and judges.
