Solidarity Event to Help our Sister
Updated On: Aug 216, 2017

June 27, 2017

The IBEW 21 Michael A. Kunas Beneficiary Committee will be holding a solidarity fundraising event to help our Sister Amanda Johnson and other IBEW 21 members who have endured major setbacks or losses.

Join us on Sunday, August 6th at a Gary Southshore Railcats Baseball Game.  The proceeds of the event will benefit our Sister who lost her husband to a sudden heart attack shortly before the birth of their first child. Tickets are only $10, game time is 2 p.m.  Get your tickets here.

If you can’t make it to the game you can also help by purchasing 50/50 Split the Pot Raffle tickets.  Your chance to win is only $5 per ticket or you can purchase five tickets for $20 by clicking here.

We are happy to report Amanda gave birth to a healthy son.  Purchase all your tickets NOW by clicking here.

More information on the event can be found here.   All Sales Final - All Purchases are Non-Refundable.

In 2010, the Michael Kunas Memorial Fund was created to honor the memory of our brother and Business Representative who passed suddenly from a massive heart attack.  In Mike’s name, the Fund hosts fundraising events to assist those who have experienced great tragedy or loss in their lives.

The Michael A. Kunas Beneficiary Committee was formed to select recipients of the Fund which is solely sponsored by voluntary donations.  Over the years we’ve been able to aid union families who endured major setbacks or losses. More information on the IBEW Local Union 21 Michael A. Kunas Memorial Fund can be found here.
