July 10, 2015
The IBEW 21 Days of Giving - Back to School Supply Drive will take place from Sunday, July 12th until Saturday, August 1st.
We are asking all members to donate at least $1 and school supplies to help children in need who live in the communities where we live and work.
Donate now by clicking here.
The supplies will be donated to families whose lives were ripped apart by the Coal City tornadoes, and children assisted by My Joyful Heart, Crittenton Centers, and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
We have our work cut out for us. There are approximately 100 families in Coal City who need our help, and My Joyful Heart has 760 children in their program. When you add Mercy Home and Crittenton Centers to that mix we are estimating there are over 1000 children in our area who need the members of IBEW Local 21 to help them.
Let’s do our part. Together we will make a difference in the communities where we live and work.
A list of needed school supplies can be found here.
A flier you can pass out to your coworkers and post on your bulletin boards is found here.
