March 11, 2014
This past weekend IBEW Local 21 members volunteered their time to help the kids at Mercy Home in the Forest Park, and Tinley Park St. Patrick’s Day parades. The “March for Kids” continues this weekend at the Downtown Chicago, Northwest Side Irish, and South Side Irish Parades. The kids at Mercy Home need your help at these parades.
It’s not too late to volunteer. Mercy Home for Boys and Girls is 99.8% privately funded and they rely heavily on fundraisers like “March for Kids” to continue their mission in being a place of healing and solace for youth in crisis. They count on organizations like ours who have large groups of members to help them turn out volunteers when they are most needed.
