May 07, 2013 -IBEW Members Ratify Agreement with AT&T
Updated On: May 07, 2015

Tuesday May 7, 2013 - 4:00pm (C.S.T.) – The membership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers System Council T-3 (IBEW SCT-3) employed by AT&T have voted to accept the tentative agreement that was reached on March 26, 2013.  The new four-year agreement covers over 6,500 employees working nationwide for the company.  The contract will take effect on June 23, 2013.

Since March, members of the IBEW attended meetings and received communications outlining the agreement.  They were allowed the opportunity to ask questions about the changes to their contract and they voted by secret ballot to accept the agreement.  IBEW members covered by the new contract will receive yearly basic weekly wage rate increases of 2.25%, 2.50%, 2.75%, 3.00% as well as a $1000 signing bonus.  More information on the agreement can be found by clicking here.

The officers and delegates of the IBEW System Council T-3, officers and staffs of the IBEW Locals belonging to the SCT-3 would like to thank their members for their hard work, solidarity, attendance at the many contract explanation meetings, and ultimate acceptance of the agreement.  Without you and your support this agreement would not have been possible.  As we move forward we will work together, we will fight together, we will grow together, and we will make the IBEW stronger together.

Solidarity!
