March 4, 2013 – Today AT&T announced it will be offering a general SIPP to employees working in the Installation and Maintenance Organization (I&M).  A surplus has not been declared.  AT&T is hoping to reduce head count by asking volunteers who work as technicians in the installation and repair departments

to accept leave packages.  All information regarding SIPP can be found in Article 30 of our contract with AT&T.

The general SIPP packages were distributed to employees in the I&M organization today.  Employees must return their completed packages to management by Friday March 15, 2013.  Management will notify employees on March 22, 2013 if their general SIPP was accepted.  The off payroll date for those who volunteered and are accepted to take the general SIPP will be March 30, 2013.
