New Contract at Johnson Controls

House Passes Employee Free Choice Act
Working families made this bill a key priority. The AFL-CIO sent more than 5 million e-mails messages to online activists on the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA).
During a week of action, workers in more than 100 cities, including IBEW Local 21 members from Comcast and AT&T, met with members of Congress and community leaders to push for passage of the Act. Actions included conferences, worker roundtables, rallies and other gatherings, with workers and union and community leaders meeting with at least 130 members of Congress.

This is the most important labor law reform legislation of this generation. This is about basic workers’ rights, about majority rule and ending discrimination in the workplace and protecting jobs. When the majority of workers say they want a union, they get a union.
