In July, IBEW Local 21 will be changing how we send text messages to our members, retires and other subscribers to our texting service. WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Beginning next week, we will be texting questions to everyone who receives text messages from IBEW 21. We ask that you reply to the text questions you receive from us.Your replies will allow us a smoother transition and give us the opportunity to update our records prior to the change. Memorial Day is the unofficial start to the summer holiday season. While the day honors those who have given their lives defending the nation, the weekend also marks the beginning of grilling season. Read the AFL-CIO, Union Plus and the Chicago Federation of Labor's suggestions on how to kick off your summer with a great start with union-made food and beverages. Also the National Safety Council released its estimates of fatalities from traffic crashes for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend. The Council estimates 407 traffic fatalities and another 43,500 medically consulted injuries may occur over the traditional summer kick-off weekend from motor vehicle collisions. Tuesday May 7, 2013 - 4:00pm (C.S.T.) – The membership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers System Council T-3 (IBEW SCT-3) employed by AT&T have voted to accept the tentative agreement that was reached on March 26, 2013. The new four-year agreement covers over 6,500 employees working nationwide for the company. Read more by clicking on the headline above.

If you are restoring service to customers after the most recent storms make sure to use all of your safety equipment. The danger you can’t see could be the most serious.

April 12, 2012 - A new tentative agreement has been reached between IBEW Local 21 and Comcast covering their employee’s working in Chicago’s Western Suburbs. Their current agreement expired on April 30, 2012. More details on the agreement can be found by clicking the headline above.
Monday April 8, 2013-Today a wage and benefit aid was added to the IBEW Local 21 website. It contains information that illustrates benefit increases and compounded wage increases over the life of the 2013 AT&T tentative agreement.
