SIPP and VSIPP Deadlines at AT&T

Last week AT&T announced a surplus of 110 employees.   Round One SIPP and VSIPP requests for any employee who wants to leave the payroll must be submitted by Wednesday, December 20, 2017, 5pm CST. 

Employees not offered a Round One SIPP and employees in other title groups who wish to save the job of an employee who is losing theirs must submit their VSIPP request by Wednesday, December 20, 2017

Those employees in Title Group 2 who were not offered a Round One SIPP may also be offered the opportunity to take a SIPP in later rounds to alleviate the surplus.

If you previously rejected any SIPP opportunity you should make sure that your VSIPP is still on file if not you should reapply.  However if you reject taking a SIPP at any point of time during this surplus you may not apply for a VSIPP for this surplus.

Managers of employees who want to take either a SIPP or VSIPP should have all of the information needed to apply and should be able to help you.  Employees must be connected to a company network to apply.  While we are not necessarily in agreement with the company’s use of the online VSIPP process interested members should use it, while the online process is addressed with management.

According to AT&T:

…The form has been automated and can be completed online…The VSIPP form can also be found on the Midwest Region (Wireline) OneStop career page located at Your Career Matters>Career Opportunities>U.S. Non-Management>Midwest (Wireline)>Staffing Guidelines/Forms (found on the right side tool bar)…An email confirmation will be sent to you and your supervisor...
