Now that the NHLPA Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks are on their way to defend their title it’s time for IBEW 21 members to get in on the fun.  On our Facebook page IBEW Twenty One, we will be holding our first ever IBEW 21 Hockey Beard Contest. 

All you have to do is go to our Facebook page and tell us you’re in the contest and post your current picture. As the Hawks move through the playoffs you can post your beard update. At the end of the Hawk’s playoff run hopefully with the Cup being raised post your final picture and we will then judge who has the best playoff beard. 

For our members living downstate who may for some reason be rooting for the Blues you can get in the contest too but win or lose for you the contest ends after the first round, unless there are over 21 of you who entered as Blues fans then we will be forced to swallow our pride and let the contest continue!

The rules- there really aren’t any except you can’t have a full good looking beard today! You can enter at any time during the Hawks playoff run. You can trim your beard, turn it into a goatee, or even grow a Joel Quenneville mustache. Since we have never done this before we can change the rules at any time. The winner gets an IBEW t-shirt and travel cup.

For our IBEW 21 Sisters you can also win an IBEW t-shirt and the cup by displaying your best Blackhawks or Blues pride on our Facebook page.
