IBEW Local 21 City of Chicago 911 OEMC Members Accept Contract

August 22, 2012 - Members of both IBEW Local Union 21 and SEIU Local 73 voted to ratify a new 4-year contract with the City of Chicago. In September the agreement will go before the City Council where it is expected to be approved. IBEW Local 21 members employed by the City of Chicago work as police and aviation communication operators and dispatchers at the OEMC 911, O’Hare and Midway call centers.
